Apple Insights

To get performance insights from Apple, you need a verified enterprise account in Apple Business Connect. Once your Apple Business Connect account is connected to PinMeTo, we will request insights going back up to 14 months from the connection date.

Note: Apple hides very low numbers to protect customer privacy. For example, if a location gets 2 or fewer views in a day, the insights will show 0.

Views

A view of your location’s Place Card occurs when someone clicks on it in Apple Maps search results or through a direct referral.
Direct referrals can come from third-party apps connected to Apple Maps or when someone opens a shared link to your Place Card.

Actions

Shows how often people took the following actions when viewing your locations' Place Cards:

Directions: People clicked to request directions to your location.
Calls: People clicked 'Call' on your location's Place Card.
Website Clicks: People clicked on your website link from your location's Place Card.

Searches

The types of keywords people use to find your locations before clicking on them in the search results.

Unlike Google Keywords, which shows specific keywords, Apple provides the keyword category instead.

Name or Brand: People searched directly for your business name or brand.
Category: People searched for a product, service, or business category related to your location.
Other: People searched for broader terms like cities, addresses, or unclassified searches.

Top List

Views tab: A list of your locations with the most views, the default sorting is from high to low.
Actions tab: A list of your locations with the most actions, the default sorting is from high to low.
Actions is a combined metric of Directions, Calls and Website Clicks.

When exporting the Top List, values for Actions (combined), Directions, Calls and Website Clicks will be listed in separate columns.
