Adding locations to Listings

There are two ways you can add locations to your Listings account.

The first is to add them manually one by one - this is recommended if you want to add one or two locations at a time.
The second is by importing a location template - recommended if you wish to add multiple locations at ones.

1. Add single locations

Go to Listings - Locations
Press 'Add location'

We offer three types of locations that you can create in PinMeTo
- Storefront - you use this when you only serve your customers at your physical address
- Storefront with Service Area (called hybrid by Google) - A business that serves customers at their business address, but also directly visits or delivers to customers. If your business doesn’t have permanent on-site signage, it's not eligible as a storefront and should be listed as a service-area business.
- Service Area - A business that visits or delivers to customers directly, but doesn’t serve customers at their business address. For example, businesses like cleaning services or plumbers. Service-area businesses can only create one profile for the metropolitan area that they serve.

The Holiday Season is upon us and that means your business will probably be open for a longer period of time, with a different schedule, so that customers have time to use your services in time for Christmas Eve!

In this short presentation today we’ll teach you how to change your Open Hours and Special Open Hours, for one, many or for all your locations at once, on Google, Apple and Bing as networks that carry special opening hours.

The Open Hours is the time during which a business or organization is open for customers or visitors.

The Special Open Hours are the temporary opening hours your business or organization is open for customers or visitors, such as during the Holiday Season, bank holidays or other special events. The Special Open Hours are displayed on Google, Bing, Huawei, Here, TomTom and Apple.

You can set up Open Hours and Special Open Hours in PinMeTo, location by location, for many locations or all at once! As for the Special Open Hours, you can decide from when this new schedule will be in effect and PinMeTo will inform all networks that support Special Open Hours about the temporary opening time and revert to your original schedule after that period.

Our team is dedicated to having your account always protected and that all data is secure.

That's why, besides passwords and two-factor authentication, we now introduce Enterprise Federation.

Enterprise Federation is also referred to as federated login, login with company e-mail or SSO (single sign-on). PinMeTo uses SAML 2.0 standard for exchanging authentication and authorization identities between security domains.

This means users will be more protected, without passwords, and the company can easily revoke access to a user in a very simple and easy process.

We work with several IDP, or Identity Providers, such as Azure AD or Google Workspace.

How it works:

While signing in, click on Sign in with an organization E-mail.

Then, type in your company's e-mail address, the same account you're logged in on your Identity Provider, for example, your Google Account.
Finally, click Log in. It's that simple!

The Call-To-Action (CTA) is an exceptional feature you can use to make your posts stand out. These come in handy when you want to guide your audience to external pages, like your website, your booking system, a campaign you’re promoting or even your company phone number to get more calls. The Call-To-Action is a special feature introduced by Google to their Location Posts. It will add additional information to your content that will shorten the path your customers need to take to - for example - book a table, place an order or sign up for your special deal.

PinMeTo gives you the option to add a Call-To-Action to your Google Post using our Posts feature. The CTA is optional.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page where you’ll see a section called Add call to action

There, you can choose between:

Conversations - Enabling Notifications

Conversations offers Email and Desktop notifications.

To enable them click on the Profile Settings icon in the top right corner and select ''Notifications''

Select the notifications you would like to receive and click ''Save''.

Email notifications

To prevent getting flooded with email notifications if lot of activity is happening at the same time email notification will be bundled together.

Desktop notifications

Make sure to allow notifications from PinMeTo on your browser when prompted.

Offers are great to engage with your audience, play with your sales strategy and reach more and more clients and their friends.

With Google Posts you can promote your special Offers easily and do that using our PinMeTo platform, Places.

To create an Offer:

Go to the Posts section of PinMeTo.
Then, click on Create Post and select Google.
Now, at the top, select Offer.
Here, fill in all the information about your offer:
The Title, that can only be seen internally.
Schedule, so that you can schedule the post to be published some other time.
The Language of your post.
The Image that will be displayed with the Offer.
The public name or Title of the Offer.
The Duration, where you set up the start and end date of this Offer.
The Details, or copy of the post, that is compatible with our template tags to tailor the text according to the location where the post is getting published.
The Coupon Code.
The Link to where your clients can redeem the code.
The Terms and Conditions.
And finally, select the Locations where you want the Offer to get published.
Then, click Publish!
