With PinMeTo, you can manage your location data on Apple Business Connect (ABC) to ensure your information is correct and up-to-date when consumers search on Apple Maps, Siri, and other Apple services. Connecting your account provides your brand with the highest data priority, unlocks valuable performance insights, and ensures your location information is always accurate.

Highest Data Priority: With a verified account, your updates are trusted by Apple and have the highest possible priority.
Performance Insights: Only verified accounts can access performance insights. We will request data from the past 14 months for all connected locations.
Expanded API Access: For customers using our API, you can access all 50 performance metrics that Apple offers.

Part 1: Before You Begin (Prerequisites)
Before starting in PinMeTo, you must have the following information and complete the initial setup within the Apple Business Connect portal.
- Required Information: You will need your company's D-U-N-S number to get verified by Apple. Information can be found at dnb.com 🔗.
- Initial Apple Setup: Follow the official "Get Started" guide from Apple Business Connect. You must complete these steps first:
- Sign in with your Apple Account 🔗
- Add at least two users and assign them the Company Admin role 🔗
- Register and Verify your Company or Organisation 🔗

Part 2: Configure Brands & Share Access with PinMeTo

- Add Your Brands in Apple Business Connect: Follow Apple's steps to add your brands 🔗. Note on Apple's Brand Structure: A brand is tied to a single country, and all locations for that brand must be within the same country.
- Share Access with PinMeTo: Follow Apple's steps to share access using a Partner ID 🔗. You will need the PinMeTo Company ID, which can be found in the PinMeTo platform by navigating to Account Settings > Connections.
Part 3: Connect Your Account in PinMeTo
- In PinMeTo, go to Account Settings > Connections.
- In the Apple section, click Login.
- Grant PinMeTo permission to delegate access.
- From the list, select the brands you created in Apple Business Connect that you want to connect to your PinMeTo account.
Part 4: How the Connection Works
- Connection Type: This is a two-way, direct connection. PinMeTo pushes data to Apple as soon as changes are made, and we can verify what data is live.
- Update Frequency: While changes are often visible on Apple Maps within a few minutes, it can sometimes take up to 24 hours for them to be fully processed and reflected.

FAQs
Q: Why is my company verification taking so long on Apple Business Connect?
A: Company verification is handled entirely by Apple and can take several days. Please ensure all your information, especially your D-U-N-S number, is correct. You must wait for verification to be complete before connecting to PinMeTo.
Q: I don't see all my brands in the list when I try to connect in PinMeTo.
A: This usually means that access has not been shared correctly for those brands within the Apple Business Connect portal. Double-check that you have shared access for all relevant brands using the PinMeTo Partner ID.
Q: Why do my insights show 0 for some days, even though I know we were open?
A: This is an intended privacy feature from Apple. To protect user privacy, Apple reports low values (e.g., 1 or 2 views/actions) as 0.
Q: Some of my locations are in "Needs Action" in the Networks tab. What should I do?
A: This typically means our system couldn't automatically match the location in PinMeTo to a location on Apple Maps, often due to an address discrepancy. Click on the number in the "Needs Action" column to review and resolve these mismatches. If you need assistance, please contact our support team.
Q: How long does it take for my updates to appear on Apple Maps?
A: Updates made in PinMeTo are sent to Apple immediately. While changes are often visible on Apple Maps within a few minutes, it can sometimes take up to 24 hours for them to be fully processed and reflected.
Q: How do I delete a listing on Apple?
A: It's not possible to remove a listing from Apple. Instead, it will be marked as permanently closed.
