Section 1: Key Benefits of Connecting

Increased Visibility: Bing Places Listings don't just show up in Bing search. The data is used to power a wide range of Microsoft services, significantly expanding businesses reach. Microsoft Maps: For driving directions and location discovery. Cortana: The voice assistant uses this data to answer queries like "find a coffee shop near me." Windows: Location information is integrated into various Windows features. Microsoft Cars: Many in-car navigation systems pull data from Bing.

Valuable Audience: Bing is the default search engine for Microsoft products and captures a substantial portion of the search market, particularly in the desktop category. This audience often skews slightly older and has higher disposable income than other search engine demographics, making them a valuable customer segment for many businesses.

Section 2: Setting Up & General

Part 1: Connect with PinMeTo

  1. If you are a new customer, our Success Team can support you in this process.
  2. If you would like to learn more about how to connect/reconnect networks (and your locations), read through our quick guide.

How to Connection works:
  • Connection Type: This is a two-way, direct connection. PinMeTo pushes data directly to Bing to update your listings. While we send the data, Bing ultimately curates what information is published.
  • Update Frequency: Location information is typically updated within a few minutes to an hour. However, in some cases, it can take up to 21 days for changes to be fully processed and reflected on Bing.

Part 2: Add New Locations to Bing

Once you have successfully connected Bing to PinMeTo, you can add locations to the network in multiple ways.

Learn more in our Quick Listings how-to guide.

Section 3: Bing Insights

PinMeTo displays performance insights for your Bing listings, allowing you to track their visibility and engagement.

Please note that Bing can be inconsistent in sharing insight data with us. Should you happen to see missing metrics or discrepancies, this is likely due to delays in updates.
