Section 1: Key Benefits of Connecting
Increased Visibility: Bing Places Listings don't just show up in Bing search. The data is used to power a wide range of Microsoft services, significantly expanding businesses reach. Microsoft Maps: For driving directions and location discovery. Cortana: The voice assistant uses this data to answer queries like "find a coffee shop near me." Windows: Location information is integrated into various Windows features. Microsoft Cars: Many in-car navigation systems pull data from Bing.
Valuable Audience: Bing is the default search engine for Microsoft products and captures a substantial portion of the search market, particularly in the desktop category. This audience often skews slightly older and has higher disposable income than other search engine demographics, making them a valuable customer segment for many businesses.
Section 2: Setting Up & General
Part 1: Connecting Bing
Our Customer Success Team will support you in this process.
Part 2: Add New Locations to Bing
When you add a new location in our platform, it will be added to Bing.
Please read more on our Listings guide.
Part 3: How the Connection Works
- Connection Type: This is a two-way, direct connection. PinMeTo pushes data directly to Bing to update your listings. While we send the data, Bing ultimately curates what information is published.
- Update Frequency: Location information is typically updated within a few minutes to an hour. However, in some cases, it can take up to 21 days for changes to be fully processed and reflected on Bing.
Section 3: Bing Insights
PinMeTo displays performance insights for your Bing listings, allowing you to track their visibility and engagement.
