AI Visibility sub-processors

AI Visibility is an add-on to the PinMeTo Places platform that shows how your brands and locations appear in answers from AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity. This page lists the sub-processors used for AI Visibility. It applies only if you have ordered AI Visibility and agreed to the AI Visibility supplement to the Data Processing Agreement, and it is the "Add-on Sub-processor List" referred to in section 4.1 of that supplement.

For every other part of the platform, the PinMeTo sub-processors page applies. Nothing on this page changes that list.

If you use AI Visibility, we give you at least 30 days' written notice before adding or replacing a sub-processor on this page, so you have time to object before the change takes effect. Questions and objections: privacy@pinmeto.com.

Where your data is processed

AI Visibility is delivered with technology from Ceyo AI Ltd., a company based in Israel. Your AI Visibility data is hosted in the European Economic Area (EEA), in Amazon Web Services' Ireland region. Unlike the rest of the PinMeTo Places platform, AI Visibility involves some processing outside the EEA, which we name below with the safeguard it relies on:

  • Israel: Ceyo's personnel in Israel can access AI Visibility data, and Bright Data Ltd. collects web content from Israel. These transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision for Israel (Decision 2011/61/EU). Ceyo's other personnel are in the Netherlands, inside the EEA.
  • United States: the files that make up the AI Visibility interface (such as scripts and images) are delivered through Amazon CloudFront from the United States. When a user opens AI Visibility, their IP address and technical request data reach that service. This relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses in Amazon Web Services' data processing terms.

How AI Visibility uses AI assistants

To see how AI assistants describe your brand, AI Visibility sends them the questions you set up, such as "best coffee chain in Malmö". These questions carry business information only (brand, category, location). Your users' names, email addresses, and IP addresses are never added to them. The companies behind the AI assistants (currently OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity, and xAI) therefore receive none of your personal data and are not sub-processors. If that ever changes, we notify you first, in the same way as for any new sub-processor.

AI Visibility checks each question when it is created and rejects it if it contains sensitive personal data, such as health or religious beliefs. Ceyo and its sub-processors do not use your data to train or improve any AI model. The AI assistant companies receive only the text of your monitoring questions; on request, we tell you whether their terms allow them to keep or use that text.

Your PinMeTo company

The PinMeTo company named in your agreement (your "Contracting Entity") is your data processor for AI Visibility, as for the rest of the platform. PinMeTo AB holds the contract with Ceyo AI Ltd. Where PinMeTo Polska sp. z o.o. is your Contracting Entity, PinMeTo AB acts as its sub-processor for AI Visibility, as described on the PinMeTo sub-processors page.

Sub-processors

Ceyo AI Ltd. is contracted by PinMeTo AB. The other sub-processors are contracted by Ceyo, under written terms that impose the same data protection obligations.
